Drawn to the home’s intimate proportions and rich design history, our cient was also eager to personalize the space and create a home to suit their needs. We imagined how the house would evolve over time and took inspiration from a 1970s palette of rich earth tones, imbuing the space with a sense of comfort and ease while adding spaces to entertain, a guest room / home office and recording space. Custom walnut built-ins in the living room, office and bedroom have been added to integrate seamlessly into the space. A built in bench was also installed beside the fireplace of a second living area, creating an ideal reading nook that overlooks the home’s vast outdoor pool area and patio.
