Our scope included the addition of a new primary suite, as well as an expanded entry and dining area that introduces a welcoming foyer and a built-in dining bench.
A central design feature is a hallway lined with deep custom oak cabinetry, providing generous storage for linens and toys while creating space to display the clients' books and music collections. Oak veneer continues into the primary bath, establishing a cohesive material palette throughout the addition. A deep blue color is woven through the primary bathroom as a subtle reference to the home's proximity to the Pacific Ocean.
To strengthen the connection between the interior and landscape, two generous decks were added, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces that support everyday family life and entertaining.
